At 17 you can complete your A1 training and tests. Once you pass the practical tests at the end of your course you will be able to ride a 125cc bike without L Plates and ride on motorways, you will also be allowed to take a pillion on the back.

At 19 You can do the A2 training & tests. Once you pass the practical tests at the end of your course you will be able to ride any bike up to 46.6 BHP, there's no upper engine size, so you will be doing your training on one of our restricted Yamaha MT-07s.

Over 24 - well it's 'full fat for you!' You can complete the Category A training - historically known as DAS. When you pass the tests on the final day, you'll be allowed to ride any size bike you like with no restrictions!

Licence Upgrade - so you've had your A2 licence for 2 years or you've turned 24 since passing A2 and want to upgrade to an unrestricted licence. Maybe you've had your A1 licence for 2 years or have turned 19 since passing the A1 and want to upgrade to A2 - well the good news is you're in the right place!
We can take you through your upgrade and tests with our accelerated access course. To upgrade to the next category you do not need a CBT, and if you've held your current licence for 2 years you don't need a theory either.
If you're upgrading because you're now old enough for the next category but have held your current licence for less than 2 years you do need a valid theory.

A beautiful day at our Crawley CBT site as a couple of our moped riders rise to the challenge of the best u turn of the day! They both got first place as they were faultless, and went onto enjoying the road ride around Sussex, returning to get their CBT certificate, which they both worked hard to achieve – well done guys, a fab day for everyone. We’ll see you back in a couple of years to renew those certificates, till then ride safe!
Weekday and weekend CBT courses are held at CRAWLEY and EAST GRINSTEAD.
