I just wanted to say thank you again and let you know what I great week I had with you. I only did my CBT with you in April, having not really ridden a motorbike properly before. Neil’s instruction on that day was superb. Calm, patient and got us to the required standard with no issues. So when I found he was our instructor again for last week I knew I would be in good hands….
On the first day of the DAS, he asked Lena and I what our motorcycle experience was…… and barely faltered, still smiling (though I imagine inwardly sighing deeply) when I told him practically none!!
Quite how Neil manages to remain so calm when one student has turned right and dropped a bike, whilst the other is still blindly hoofing it straight on to London down the A2300, I’m not sure….
Max was an enthusiastic and great substitute instructor on Friday. A couple of tips that he probably doesn’t remember, but made all the difference on a nervous test day morning.
The fact that all of you had a genuine interest and concern for our test results, made the week all the more special for me, and made me appreciate the community I’m joining. Thank you.
I’ll be riding over to the Harley Davidson garage to see what it’s all about sometime soon.
