DAS for Daryl!

#DASpass

The review says it all – a very well done to Daryl Martin of Aylesford Kent:

Many thanks, I am over the moon to have passed first time. I first developed a passion for bikes when I was 14, riding different machines on private land and getting my first bike when I was 16. After 30 years of car driving, getting diagnosed with leukaemia this year and realising life is too short, I thought it was about time I got back on 2 wheels and started looking at training. I searched my local area in Kent but due to Covid, the waiting list for training was 4-6 months. That’s when I stumbled across MTS Sussex, I booked my CBT and 4 day DAS course there and then. After thoroughly enjoying my CBT and getting back into the swing of things, I could not wait to do my DAS on a “proper” bike. I started my DAS training with Max on a cold November morning, covering everything I need to know about Mod 1 and Mod 2, but most importantly how to ride safely. Test day quickly arrived, another cold, bright November day. I settled the nerves and passed the Mod 1. Then it was back to base to regroup, have a coffee and then back out with Matt to fine tune all what I have learnt so far. Back at the test centre for Mod 2, took a breather, then out on the road again, I passed with 1 rider fault. Just want to say a massive thank you to the whole team at MTS Sussex for getting me back on 2 wheels, this is my new bike that has been waiting for me to pass!
