Age 16 or over and just want to do a CBT - BOOK HERE Want to try it out first - book a NEW RIDER TRAINING COURSE. If you're looking to get your full licence please select from below according to your age.

AGE 17 - A1 License

At 17 you can complete your A1 training and tests. Once you pass the practical tests at the end of your course you will be able to ride a 125cc bike without L Plates and ride on motorways, you will also be allowed to take a pillion on the back.

You will need a current CBT, if you do not have one you can BOOK ONLINE HERE and theory which you can BOOK HERE.

AGE 19 - A2 License

At 19 You can do the A2 training & tests. Once you pass the practical tests at the end of your course you will be able to ride any bike up to 46.6 BHP, there's no upper engine size, so you will be doing your training on one of our restricted Yamaha MT-07s.

You will need a current CBT, if you do not have one you can BOOK ONLINE HERE and theory which you can BOOK HERE.

AGE 24 and over - DAS

Over 24 - well it's 'full fat for you!' You can complete the Category A training - historically known as DAS. When you pass the tests on the final day, you'll be allowed to ride any size bike you like with no restrictions!

You will need a current CBT, if you do not have one you can BOOK ONLINE HERE and theory which you can BOOK HERE.

LICENCE UPGRADE

Licence Upgrade - so you've had your A2 licence for 2 years or you've turned 24 since passing A2 and want to upgrade to an unrestricted licence. Maybe you've had your A1 licence for 2 years or have turned 19 since passing the A1 and want to upgrade to A2 - well the good news is you're in the right place!

We can take you through your upgrade and tests with our accelerated access course. To upgrade to the next category you do not need a CBT, and if you've held your current licence for 2 years you don't need a theory either.

If you're upgrading because you're now old enough for the next category but have held your current licence for less than 2 years you do need a valid theory.

A fab day by the sounds of things – training should be fun, that’s what we try to achieve at all levels here at MTS!

I had a back to biking training day with Ian as I had not ridden a bike for 18yrs , I am so glad I booked it and chose this company .What a great day Ian listened to my concerns and what I felt I needed to get confident with again and the whole day not once did I feel pressured or any negativity , he is a great teacher and by the end of the day i was loads more confident again . Money really well spent and it nice to know there are still companies out there that listen and want to really help rather than just take peoples money . Thank you for a great day
