Age 16 or over and just want to do a CBT - BOOK HERE Want to try it out first - book a NEW RIDER TRAINING COURSE. If you're looking to get your full licence please select from below according to your age.

AGE 17 - A1 License

At 17 you can complete your A1 training and tests. Once you pass the practical tests at the end of your course you will be able to ride a 125cc bike without L Plates and ride on motorways, you will also be allowed to take a pillion on the back.

You will need a current CBT, if you do not have one you can BOOK ONLINE HERE and theory which you can BOOK HERE.

AGE 19 - A2 License

At 19 You can do the A2 training & tests. Once you pass the practical tests at the end of your course you will be able to ride any bike up to 46.6 BHP, there's no upper engine size, so you will be doing your training on one of our restricted Yamaha MT-07s.

You will need a current CBT, if you do not have one you can BOOK ONLINE HERE and theory which you can BOOK HERE.

AGE 24 and over - DAS

Over 24 - well it's 'full fat for you!' You can complete the Category A training - historically known as DAS. When you pass the tests on the final day, you'll be allowed to ride any size bike you like with no restrictions!

You will need a current CBT, if you do not have one you can BOOK ONLINE HERE and theory which you can BOOK HERE.

LICENCE UPGRADE

Licence Upgrade - so you've had your A2 licence for 2 years or you've turned 24 since passing A2 and want to upgrade to an unrestricted licence. Maybe you've had your A1 licence for 2 years or have turned 19 since passing the A1 and want to upgrade to A2 - well the good news is you're in the right place!

We can take you through your upgrade and tests with our accelerated access course. To upgrade to the next category you do not need a CBT, and if you've held your current licence for 2 years you don't need a theory either.

If you're upgrading because you're now old enough for the next category but have held your current licence for less than 2 years you do need a valid theory.

Well done to Patrick Harrison of Horsham, with his CBT in September than 3 days DAS training, he sailed through his tests and achieved a perfect pass on Mod2 – a pass without any minors hey fella, you don’t get better than that!

And from Patrick: Here’s a little blurb about my motorbiking journey. I took my dad (who has been riding 35 years) to the TT for his 60th last year, and it’s safe to say I caught the bug. So when I started a new job in London and came across the price of train tickets I thought maybe biking was a more fun & cheaper way to commute. So after doing the CBT with MTS I went on to bike into London everyday. 40 miles each way, taking 1.5hrs. After racking up a lot of experience quickly and having some concerns with just riding a 125cc I had to scratch the itch further and I couldn’t be happier. So I’m hopefully picking up my 2021 Honda CB650R this weekend to continue my commuting on a safer bike!
